DIRECTOR OF SALES

Purpose and Scope

Planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales job design, sales training, sales program implementation, sales compensation design and administration, and recruiting and selection of sales force talent. Collaboration with Production, Warranty, Accounting to ensure all levels of sales are fulfilled. Manages the team of Independent Sales Representatives.

Responsibilities/ Duties – Duties and activities that constitute the performance of the job:

  • Ensure high quality employee attraction, engagement, and development at all levels
  • Coaches and builds local operations team in collaboration efforts with sales team to obtain profitable business and maintain superior customer service for existing customers
  • Identifies processes to improve overall performance and efficiency
  • Participates in sales process
  • Escalation point for clients
  • Provides effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring
  • Coordinates and communicates across departments
  • Managing VIP Clients
  • Responsible for efficiency and process flow of Estimates and Sales Orders
  • Recruiting and hiring on Independent Sales Representatives
  • Works directly with Production and Warranty to manage customer expectations

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Background/ Experience – Minimum required job experience to adequately perform the duties defined

  • 3+ years of experience

Desirable Attributes/Skills:

  • Capable of handling multiple priorities and extensive time demands regarding both logistics and employee relations and engagement.
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong negotiations, communication and interpersonal skills

JobType:

  • Full-time

Salary:

  • $95,000 – $130,000 per year
